This is all over the theatre and entertainment websites, which I think is a good thing. On Jim Steinman's blogsite, a demo of the Joker's song, "Wonderful Toys" from the suspected new musical "Batman" is posted as an mp3. As always, a gazillion pop culture references from "To Tell the Truth," to The Doors' "The End," and Rodgers and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music." The song is actually very reminescent of The Tubes' "What do you Want from Life." I think Jim Steinman will write a great pop musical one day.
